As an AR Designer, I create high quality mocks of the Lens experience, driving and often owning the visual direction. These concepts are created using a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Midjourney and Blender. I design primarily for two streams of Lens content; first, Lens+ for our premium subscription tier users. The concepts I create for this content stream are primarily geared towards a female audience aged anywhere from 18-36. Trend research is a significant part of this work; staying up to date on beauty and fashion trends is key to target Gen Z and millennial women.

The second stream of content I design for relies on simpler experiences without complex 3D objects or effects. Rather, they serve to frame or enhance the user’s photos; I sometimes create trendy collage-style frames, or go with a simple effect while displaying the date in a simple font.
